Ticksy v3.1.0 Update

Ticksy 3.1.0 is here with some big new features and other smaller updates. Here’s a quick overview of what’s new:

Easy Digital Downloads + Software Licensing

If you sell products using Easy Digital Downloads with the Software Licensing add-on (required), this new feature will make you very happy. You can now import your products and verify purchases on new ticket submissions by asking for the user’s license code. No more getting tickets from people who don’t legitimately own a license to your software.

New Category Management Screen

Aside from being totally redesigned, there are some great new features here. You can now add a thumbnail for every category (not just Envato Market products), you can assign categories you may already have to connected products, and there’s a nice “Compact Sorting” mode for those that need to reorder a big list of categories.

Ticket List Styling

The ticket list was given a little refresh. We are still working on getting this just right, but we’re happy with the results. What do you think?

Category Thumbnails

With the ability to add thumbnails to all of your categories now, we thought it would be a good idea to show off those thumbnails wherever possible. So we stuck them in the sidebar category lists as well as a few other places. Let us know if you see any places with missing thumbnails!

What’s Next?

Glad you asked! Here’s what we have planned over the next few months:

  1. Article Management Redesign —This would include a brand new design to make things more intuitive, multi-language support, article-only categories (instead of being limited to the categories of your products), and more.
  2. Multi-Agent Category Support — Basically, you would be able to assign a category to more than one agent. When a ticket comes in, it will alternate between the agents you have assigned when choosing who to assign the new ticket to.
  3. Custom Domains and Email Support — This is something we’ve been wanting to do for quite a while. We found out very quickly that it’s not an easy thing to do. We’re very close on the email support, and custom domains would be coming soon after that. Can’t wait to release those two features!
